Caprica - Season Premiere

Just saw the first season Premiere of Caprica on Syfy. I had purchased the DVD when it came out a few months ago and thought it was a great prelude to how the cylons came to be what they were in BSG - at least the robotic ones that took orders.  It was clear that the one played on syfy was the edited version - no nudity like the one on the DVD.  Without giving too much away - one thing I will say -  it was awesome to learn that the straight edge Adama's father was a mafia lawyer. - awesome! http://www.syfy.com/caprica/

It's the little things that matter

I was looking through MSN videos today and this just proves that pets really do add joy to our lives. It's the little things like this that make me smile - I had to watch it at least 5-6 times and it made me smile every single time.

Recovering

I spent all day yesterday in bed recovering what I can only remember as a great time. I can't remember when was the last time I just let go and had spent an entire 30-35 hours recovering from a great night. It was that good. Although I was lying in bed, my head pounded, my body ached and my stomach was punching me constantly and thought literally I was felt like I was going to die.. I didn't though, my body after vomiting every two hours of whatever I had that night..and forcing myself to have little sips of water, never feeling comfortable as I kept feeling hot and cold every 5 mins -- somehow my body recovered. after 30 hours of tossing and turning and trying to recover, I finally got up this morning - still feeling a bit nausea and dizzy, I felt I had to get up because my back was beginning to hurt (lying in bed for so long) and my head although still hurt, I was able to think and see my way to the bathroom. I managed to eat some bread, drink some Pedialyte, I started to feel better, once I had some coffee in me and some more toast and some apple - I was ready to do some cleaning.

Great tips on how to make a hangover less painful:

Breathe

We should really take time to appreciate what we have in life.. Sometimes.. just getting up in the morning is a blessing. Everyone is so into rushing, routines and getting things done.. Guess I’m one of those.. I love it and hate it at the same time.. How is it that we are suppose to strive to be the best we can be and yet have no time to enjoy life.. I say no more.. time to remember what is important. Time to reflect…

Maybe just a little..
